Currently Martins shop "Lange Classic Engineering Inc." takes fabrication to another level.
As a Coachbuilder he creates custom cars, custom frames and custom sheet metal parts.
Martin Lange born in Germany and as a child, his neighbor Carl Simetka took him to a shop where he used to work. It turned out it was the shop of Erhard Melcher founder of AMG. Today better known as AMG-Mercedes.
For the next 10 years this shop became his second home. In the daytime he studied at AEG Telefunken to become a technical drafter and in the evenings he made cam shafts. Erhard and Carl started their own M&S Racing Team. Martin excelled at racing for a few years on their racing team.
After many years of sitting in front of a computer creating technical draftings, Martin started “Rod Corner” his first Hot Rod Shop in Germany.
In 2001 Martin closed “Rod Corner” and moved to Corona, CA, to build Hot Rods.
Over the years he worked for different shops as head of R&D, shop foreman and in kinematics. Today he designs, engineers and builds complete cars.
